1 Killed, 1 Arrested after Encinitas Accident on Interstate 5 near Manchester Avenue
Encinitas, California (March 9, 2019) – A driver was killed and another arrested after an accident involving two vehicles on Friday morning in Encinitas, as per a local news source.
The fatal crash was reported at about 1:15 a.m. March 8, on northbound Interstate 5 near Manchester Avenue.
The CHP said a Hyundai and a pickup were involved in the Accident.
A male driver in the Hyundai was taken to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The driver of the pickup was suspected of DUI and was arrested after the collision.
The crash remains under investigation.
