Minor Injuries Reported after Rancho Cordova Accident on Highway 50 at Sunrise Boulevard
Rancho Cordova, California (March 6, 2019) – Minor injuries were reported after a two-vehicle collision Wednesday afternoon in the area of Rancho Cordova, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The collision happened at around 2:25 p.m. Wednesday, on Highway 50 at Sunrise Boulevard off-ramp.
As per the report, two vehicles crashed for unknown reasons.
An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the injured parties. The number of victims and their current condition was not immediately known.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
Authorities closed lanes 3 and 4 following the collision. The roadway was opened as of 2:55 p.m.
No additional details regarding this incident were provided.
