Several People Hospitalized after Fresno Car Crash on Highway 180
Fresno, California (March 4, 2019) – Several people were hospitalized after multiple vehicles were involved in a pile-up on Sunday in Fresno, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The wreck happened on Highway 180 near De Wolf Avenue on Sunday, March 3.
CHP said at least five cars were involved in the wreck. Details on the events leading up to the crash were not immediately available.
At least one car rolled over in the crash.
Victims, including adults and children, were all taken to a hospital for treatment of minor-to-major injures.
The authorities set up a detour off of De Wolf Avenue as the scene was examined and cleared.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
