Compton, California (March 3, 2019) – Four people were injured in an accident involving two vehicles on Saturday afternoon in Compton, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident was reported at about 2:26 p.m. March 2, on Telegraph Road (Highway 126) east of Center Street.
Police said the collision involved a white sedan and a black utility car, which was found on the ditch.
The impact of the crash caused one person to be extricated from the wreckage and airlifted to Ventura County Medical Center for treatment of major injuries. Three other victims suffered unknown injuries in the accident.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
