At Least 1 Injured in San Jose Scooter Accident Thursday afternoon on Bascom Avenue
San Jose, California (March 2, 2019) – Minor injuries were reported Thursday afternoon after a traffic crash in San Jose, the California Highway Patrol said.
The wreck, which was reported at 3:34 p.m. Thursday, February 28, happened in the 751 block of S Bascom Avenue.
According to the CHP, an unidentified person was riding a scooter on Bascom Avenue when they were hit by a vehicle that was believed to be a handicap transport van.
The CHP officers said the crash resulted in minor injuries. No immediate details were provided regarding the victims.
The crash remains under investigation.
