38-Year-Old Man Sustains Major Injuries in South San Francisco Pedestrian Accident

South San Francisco, California (March 1, 2019) – A pedestrian was struck and seriously injured by a vehicle Thursday night in South San Francisco, police said.
The accident happened at about 9:00 p.m. Thursday, February 28 on Grand Avenue at Eucalyptus Avenue.
According to the police, the pedestrian, only identified as a 38-year-old man, was crossing Grand Avenue at Eucalyptus Avenue when for an unknown reason he was hit by a vehicle.
The man was taken to a local trauma center with non-life threatening injuries. His name and condition at this time remained unknown.
The driver involved stopped at the scene and complied with investigators.
Alcohol or drugs were not considered a factor in the accident.
