Two Deputies, Civilian Hurt in Lake Forest Car Crash near Towne Center Drive and Entertainment
Orange County, California (March 1, 2019) – Two deputies and one civilian were injured in a collision between a vehicle and a patrol car in Lake Forest on Thursday afternoon, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.
The incident happened at about 12:50 p.m. February 28 near Towne Center Drive and Entertainment.
According to the report, the two deputies were conducting a traffic stop when another vehicle struck their car.
The deputies, one male and one female, were both taken to a hospital with mild to moderate injuries.
One person in the civilian vehicle was transported to a hospital with minor injuries.
An investigation to determine the cause of the crash is ongoing.
