Sacramento, CA: 3-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 80
Possible Injuries after Sacramento Car Accident between Madison Avenue and Greenback Lane
Sacramento, California (February 28, 2019) – Possible injuries were reported Thursday morning following a traffic collision in Sacramento, according to a local news source.
The wreck, which was reported at around 7:00 a.m., happened on Interstate 80 between Madison Avenue and Greenback Lane.
According to a California Highway Patrol report, at least three vehicles were involved in the collision.
Possible injuries were reported in the crash.
Two left-hand lanes of the Interstate 80 were shut down for around a half hour while emergency crews clear the vehicles and debris.
Traffic backed up for miles on westbound Interstate 80. As of 7:30 a.m. both the No. 1 and 2 lanes were reopened.
The crash remains under investigation.
