2 Hospitalized after Sacramento Accident on 80 Freeway near Greenback Lane
Sacramento, California (February 23, 2019) – Two persons were hospitalized after a traffic collision early Saturday morning in the area of Sacramento, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The collision happened at around 11:58 p.m. Saturday, on westbound 80 Freeway, just east of Greenback Lane.
As per the report, two vehicles crashed for unknown reasons. One of the vehicles overturned as a result of the collision.
An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the injured parties. Two persons were transported to UC Davis Medical treatment for treatment of minor injuries. The patient’s names and their current condition was not immediately known.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
No additional information concerning this incident was provided.
