Felton, California (February 22, 2019) – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle Thursday evening in Felton, according to a local news source.

The deadly accident happened at about 4:30 p.m. Thursday, February 21 on Highway 9, just north of Graham Hill Road.

As per the report, the pedestrian was walking southbound on Highway 9 when for an unknown reason he was hit by a Toyota 4 Runner driven by a 47-year-old Boulder Creek man.

The pedestrian, only identified as a 22-year-old Ben Lomond man, died in the accident. His name has not been released pending identification and notification of his next of kin.

The driver of the Toyota stopped at the scene and cooperated with investigators.

The crash remains under investigation.
