Torrance Police Motorcycle Officer Injured in 405 Freeway Crash near 605 Freeway
Long Beach, California (February 22, 2019) – A Torrance police motorcycle officer was hospitalized Thursday morning following a traffic crash involving several vehicles in Long Beach, according to a local news source.
The wreck, which was reported at around 5:30 a.m. Thursday, February 21, happened on the 405 Freeway near the 605 Freeway interchange.
Details are extremely limited at this time and its unknown what caused the collision.
The officer sustained a broken arm.
Traffic backed up on the northbound 405 for hours as emergency crews worked to clear the scene.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
