Pomona, CA: Fatal DUI Car Crash on 10 Freeway North Orange Grove Avenue
1 Killed in Pomona Accident on San Bernardino Freeway near North Orange Grove Avenue
Pomona, California (February 19, 2019) – One person was killed in a DUI traffic collision involving a big rig in Pomona on Tuesday morning.
According to a local news source, the fatal collision happened at about 12:22 a.m. on 10 Freeway near
North Orange Grove Avenue.
The authorities said 26-year-old Nathan R. Anaya had been driving a car on the roadway when he crashed into a big rig.
An unidentified 35-year-old male passenger in the car was killed in the collision.
Anaya sustained minor injuries in the collision and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Anaya was later arrested on suspicion of DUI.
An investigation to determine the cause of the accident is underway.
