Woman Seriously Hurt in Chula Vista Pedestrian Crash near Date and Main Streets
Chula Vista, California (February 17, 2019) – A woman was hit and injured by a vehicle in Chula Vista on Friday evening, according to the police.
The accident occurred at about 6:30 p.m. February 15 near the intersection of Date and Main streets.
Police said the responding paramedics found the woman lying unconscious in the roadway. The victim was rushed to a hospital in critical condition.
The victim’s identity was not immediately released.
Police said the driver who hit the woman remained at the site of the crash.
Drugs and alcohol were not suspected to be factors in the incident.
An investigation is ongoing.
