Woman Dies in Manteca Pedestrian Crash on Moffat Boulevard near Spreckels Avenue
Manteca, California (February 17, 2019) – A woman was struck and killed by a vehicle in southeast Manteca on Friday evening, according to the Manteca Police Department.
The incident was reported at about 7:35 p.m. February 15 in the 1200 block of Moffat Boulevard east of Spreckels Avenue.
Police said a woman using a walker was traveling over the Highway 120 overcrossing when a vehicle struck her. The impact threw the woman into the sidewalk.
Emergency crews responded to the incident. Life-saving efforts were made but the victim died at the scene.
The driver and passenger of the vehicle involved remained at the scene after the incident.
Manteca police are investigating the crash.
