1 Injured in Chico Car Crash on Highway 99 near Neal Road
Chico, California (February 14, 2019) – At least one person was hurt in a car accident that occurred in Chico on Thursday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Highway 99 near Neal Road at about 5 p.m.
As per the incident log, at least four vehicles were involved in the crash. However, the manner in which the crash occurred was not immediately established. One of the cars reportedly caught fire after the collision.
The paramedics who responded to the incident had to extricate one person who was trapped inside a car.
One person was transported to a local hospital for treatment of head and chest injuries.
No other information was provided.
The authorities are gathering information to determine the cause of the accident.
