CHP Officer Among 2 Injured in Hesperia Crash on 15 Freeway and Oak Hills Road

Hesperia, California (February 14, 2019) – A CHP officer was among two people injured when a driver crashed into a parked patrol vehicle in Hesperia on Thursday morning.
According to the authorities, the incident happened at about 8:40 a.m. on the 15 Freeway at Oak Hills Road.
The authorities said a CHP officer was responding to a single-vehicle accident involving a blue Prius that had spun out in the area.
As the officer parked the patrol vehicle along the center divider, he was hit in the rear by a silver Mercedes Benz.
The officer was taken to a hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the Benz was transported to Loma Linda University Medical Center with head trauma.
The authorities are investigating the incident.
