Possible Injuries Sustained in Irvine Accident on 5 Freeway and Culver Drive
Irvine, California (February 14, 2019) – Possible injuries were reported after a three-vehicle collision Wednesday evening in the area of Irvine, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision happened at around 5:53 p.m. Wednesday, on northbound 5 Freeway, just south of Culver Drive.
As per the CHP officials, three vehicles crashed for unknown reasons. The vehicles were blocking lane 1 following the accident.
An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the injured parties. The number of victims and their current condition was not immediately known.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
No additional information concerning this incident was provided.
An investigation is underway.
