Raul Agundez ID’d as Man Killed in Chula Vista Motorcycle Accident on Broadway and F Street
Chula Vista, California (February 13, 2019) – The man who was killed Friday morning in a traffic accident at a Chula Vista intersection has been identified as Raul Agundez, 54, of Chula Vista.
The deadly crash took place just before 6:00 a.m. Friday, February 8 at the intersection of Broadway and F Street.
Police said Agundez was riding northbound on Broadway on a green light when he collided with a southbound sedan that was making a left turn at the intersection.
Paramedics responded to the scene and performed CPR on Agundez, but he did not survive and was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
The two occupants of the other vehicle involved sustained minor injuries.
The driver remained at the scene and reportedly cooperated with the investigators.
Police are investigating the crash.
