Juvenile Boy Killed in San Jose Pedestrian Crash on East 3rd Street
San Jose, California (February 13, 2019) – A boy was fatally struck by a vehicle backing out of a driveway on Monday afternoon in San Jose, according to a local news source.
The collision was reported just before 3:45 p.m. February 11, on East 3rd Street
As per the report, the boy was struck by the vehicle for unknown reasons.
The boy sustained major injuries as a result of the incident and was taken to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. The name and age of the deceased have not been revealed thus far.
According to the sheriff’s department, the driver of the involved vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
No other information was released concerning the collision.
The authorities are investigating the incident.
