Man Killed in Inglewood Car Accident on Dalerose Avenue near 111th Street
Inglewood, California (February 9, 2019) – A man Inglewood police attempted to follow was killed Saturday morning in a traffic accident in Inglewood, according to authorities.
The deadly wreck occurred at around 2:10 a.m. on Dalerose Avenue near 111th Street.
Authorities said the man was driving his Dodge Charger recklessly on northbound Dalerose Avenue. Officers attempted to catch up with the Charger but lost sight of it.
Moments later, the Charger slammed into two or three parked cars and flipped over.
The man was declared deceased at the scene. His name has not been released pending identification and notification of family.
It was undetermined if alcohol or drugs were a factor in the crash.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
