2 Seriously Injured in Moreno Valley Crash on Iris Avenue
Moreno Valley, California (February 8, 2019) – Two people sustained major injuries Tuesday evening in a traffic accident in the city of Moreno Valley, authorities said.
The crash was reported at around 6:48 p.m. Tuesday, February 5 in the 27300 block of Iris Avenue.
According to the authorities, two vehicles collided for an undetermined reason in front of the Kaiser Permanent hospital.
Firefighters along with paramedics responded to the scene and rendered aid to both drivers who were badly injured as a result of the crash. The drivers of the two vehicles were then taken to a nearby hospital, where one of them was listed in critical condition.
Westbound Iris Avenue was closed until 11:30 p.m. as emergency crews worked at the scene.
