Three Injured in Santa Rosa Big Rig Crash on Mark West Springs Road near Riebli Road
Santa Rosa, California (February 7, 2019) – Three people were injured when a car collided with a big rig in Santa Rosa on Wednesday morning, according to a CHP report.
The collision took place on Mark West Springs Road north of Riebli Road around 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, February 6.
The CHP report indicates that a sedan and a big rig were involved. One person had to be cut out of the wreckage by the firefighters.
Three people were hurt in the accident and were all transported by ambulances to a hospital. Two of the patients were suspected to have moderate to major injuries.
The crash resulted in a fuel leak from the big rig.
An investigation to determine the cause of the wreck is being conducted by the CHP.
