French Camp, CA: Major Crash on 5 Freeway and Roth Road
1 Hospitalized after French Camp Accident on 5 Freeway and Roth Road
French Camp, California (February 4, 2019) – One person was hospitalized after a multi-vehicle collision Monday afternoon in the area of French Camp, Stockton, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision happened at around 2:49 p.m. Monday, on northbound 5 Freeway, at Roth Road off-ramp.
As per the CHP officials, three vehicles crashed for reasons still under investigation.
An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the injured parties who suffered severe injuries as a result of the collision. One person was transported to the hospital with a punctured lung and possible fractured rib as a result of the collision.
The total number of victims and their current condition was not immediately known.
The roadway was cleared as of 3:15 p.m.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
No additional information concerning this incident was provided.
An investigation is underway.
