Bloomington, California (February 1, 2019) – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle Thursday morning in Bloomington, according to a local news source.

The fatal accident occurred at around 5:00 a.m. Thursday, January 31 on Interstate 10 Freeway near Cedar Avenue.

As per the report, the pedestrian, only identified as an 18- year-old San Bernardino man, was hit by a vehicle on the westbound Interstate 10 Freeway.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released pending identification and notification of his relatives.

No details regarding the driver involved were immediately disclosed. Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
