Redwood Valley Man Dies in Willits Motorcycle Crash on Highway 20 near Marina Drive
Willits, California (February 1, 2019) – A man was killed in a motorcycle accident involving two other vehicles in Willits on Thursday evening, according to the CHP.
The crash took place on Highway 20 west of Marina Drive at about 4:50 p.m. January 31.
CHP said a westbound 2004 Harley Davidson was traveling in the eastbound lanes of SR 20 when it collided with an oncoming silver 2018 Toyota Camry. An eastbound white 2001 Chevrolet Colorado that was traveling behind the Camry tried to swerve to avoid the collision but struck the front of the Toyota.
According to the report, the driver of the Harley Davidson, a man from Redwood Valley, was killed in the crash. The driver of the Camry sustained moderate injuries and was taken to Adventist Health Ukiah Valley.
The other driver was unhurt in the crash.
The CHP is investigating the incident.
