Minor Injuries Reported in El Centro Crash at Highway 111 and Evans Hewes Highway

El Centro, California (January 29, 2019) – Minor injuries were reported after a two-vehicle collision Tuesday morning in the area of El Centro, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The collision happened at around 5:30 a.m. Tuesday, at Highway 111 and East Evans Hewes Highway.
As per the report, two vehicles crashed for unknown reasons. The impact caused one of the cars to hit the traffic light.
An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the injured persons. The number of victims and their current condition was not immediately known.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
No additional information concerning this incident was provided.
