Minor Injuries Sustained in Lompoc Car Accident at Lompoc Valley; Elijio Juarez Arrested
Lompoc, California (January 25, 2019) – Minor injuries were reported after a vehicle crashes into Lompoc Valley Medical Center Thursday morning, a local news source reported.
The accident occurred at around 6:00 a.m. Thursday, January 24 at Lompoc Valley Hospital.
The local news source reported that an unspecified vehicle driven by Elijio Juarez, 33, slammed into the glass window at the Emergency Department main entrance. The hospital staff immediately implemented their emergency protocols.
No one inside the building sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.
Juarez was found hiding in an office inside the building. The suspect was then arrested on suspicion of violating parole and driving under the influence of drugs.
According to officials, patient care for the Emergency Department was not impacted by the accident.
Authorities are investigating the crash.
