Michael Pham and Ynhi Trang Hospitalized after being Hit by Truck at Madigan Street and Morgan Hill Drive in Temecula

Temecula, California (January 24, 2019) – 51-year-old Michael T. Quoc Pham and 49-year-old Ynhi Trang have been identified as the victims hit and injured by a truck at the intersection of Madigan Street and Morgan Hill Drive in Temecula, a local news source reported.
The man and woman, both Temecula pedestrians, were struck by the pickup truck Wednesday night at around 8:34 p.m., California Highway Patrol Officer Mike Lassing said.
Lassing said a 61-year-old woman was driving a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado northbound on Morgan Hill Drive when she made a left turn onto westbound Madigan Street and hit the pair.
The pedestrians were walking within a marked crosswalk at the time of the accident.
Paramedics responded to the scene and transported the victims to Inland Valley Medical Center. The pedestrians suffered serious injuries.
The driver stopped and remained at the scene. She told authorities that she did not see the pedestrians when she hit them.
Police are investigating the accident.
