1 Hospitalized with Major Injuries after Gerber Car Crash at Gerber Road and State Highway 99w
Gerber, California (January 24, 2019) – One person sustained major injuries after a traffic collision that took place Thursday afternoon in Gerber, the California Highway Patrol reported.
Authorities said the accident transpired at around 1:36 p.m. at the intersection of Gerber Road and State Highway 99w.
Two vehicles collided at the intersection for unknown reasons. One of them was blocking the roadway after the collision.
At least one person sustained a possible broken leg in the crash. Paramedics responded to the scene to transport the victim to the hospital.
Both vehicles were towed away from the collision scene with major front-end damage.
CHP is investigating the accident.
