At Least 1 Hospitalized after Sacramento Car Crash on Highway 51 near El Camino Avenue
Sacramento, California (January 21, 2019) –At least one person was hospitalized after a multi-vehicle collision Sunday morning in the area of Sacramento, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The accident happened at around 10:41 a.m. Sunday, January 20, on northbound Highway 51, just north of El Camino on-ramp.
As per the report, five vehicles crashed for reasons still under investigation.
An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the injured parties. At least one person was reportedly transported to the hospital for treatment of injuries of unspecified degree. The number of victims and their current condition was not immediately known.
Authorities blocked lanes 1 and 2 following the collision.
