Tuolumne, California (January 18, 2019) – The authorities have disclosed the identity of a man who was injured in a bicycle accident in Tuolumne on Wednesday morning.
The victim was identified as 40-year-old Ben Udoh.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at about 5:45 a.m. January 16, in the area of Laurel Avenue and Willow Avenue.
The authorities said Udoh was riding his bicycle in the area when he was struck by a vehicle. The motorist reportedly fled the scene after the collision and was yet to be located.
Udoh sustained unspecified injuries in the crash and was rushed to a local hospital for treatment.
