Woman Hospitalized after Ingleside Heights Pedestrian Crash near St. Charles and Palmetto Avenues
San Francisco, California (January 16, 2019) – A woman was hospitalized after a hit-and-run accident on Monday morning in the Ingleside Heights neighborhood, according to the police.
The crash happened at about 5:39 a.m. January 14 in the area of St. Charles and Palmetto avenues.
Police said a 64-year-old woman was trying to cross the street when she was hit by a black Mazda SUV traveling westbound on Palmetto Avenue.
The SUV driver fled the scene after the incident.
The police said the victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a hospital for treatment.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
