Windsor, California (January 13, 2019) – Several people were injured in a suspected DUI wrong-way car crash in the North Bay area of Santa Rosa early Sunday morning.

According to a local news source, the accident occurred at about 12:55 a.m. on Highway 101 near Arata Lane.

As per the report, a Ford Focus driven by 37-year-old Omar Cisnero-Ramierz was traveling northbound in the southbound lanes of the roadway when it collided with a GMC Sierra and a VW Beetle.

A female occupant of the VW Beetle sustained major injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

The driver of the GMC and his two passengers were taken to Sutter Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

Cisnero-Ramierz was arrested on suspicion of DUI.

No other information was provided.
