Woman In Her 50s Killed in Fresno Pedestrian Crash at California Avenue and S Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard

Fresno, California (January 9, 2019) – A woman in her 50s was killed Wednesday in a hit-and-run accident in southwest Fresno, according to a local news source.
The deadly pedestrian crash happened at an unspecified time at the intersection of California Avenue and S Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
Police said the woman was walking along the crosswalk at the intersection when she was struck by a black early 2000 model Chevy or GMC SUV, whose driver fled the scene.
The woman was immediately taken to community regional medical center where she later succumbed to her injuries. Her name has not been released pending identification and notification of her relatives.
