Motorists Hurt in Oxnard Car Accident near Teal Club and Ventura Roads
Oxnard, California (January 8, 2019) – A two-vehicle collision that resulted in downed power lines on Monday afternoon in Oxnard caused injuries to the motorists involved.
According to the authorities, the wreck happened at about 4 p.m. January 7 near Teal Club and Ventura Roads.
Oxnard police said a pickup truck and a car were involved in the accident. The impact knocked down a power pole and one of the drivers was trapped by the downed pole.
There were reports of minor injuries. It’s unclear how many persons were hurt in the crash.
Power outages were expected to be in place until 3 a.m. on Tuesday.
The circumstances that led to the collision remain under investigation.
