Man Dies in Midway District Pedestrian Crash on Midway Drive near Rosecrans Street

San Diego, California (January 6, 2019) – A man was killed in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident in Midway District on Saturday evening, according to the San Diego police.
The incident happened on Midway Drive near Rosecrans Street at about 7 p.m. January 5.
Police said the man, whose identity was not immediately released, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver involved fled the scene after hitting the pedestrian and was last seen heading towards Rosecrans Street.
The suspect was driving an older model Honda Accord which had gold metallic paint and tinted windows.
The crash is under investigation.
