Minor Injuries Sustained in Simi Valley Motorcycle Accident on Highway 118 near 5 Freeway
Simi Valley, California (January 5, 2019) – Minor injuries were sustained after a motorcycle accident Friday evening in the area of Simi Valley, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The accident occurred at around 6:07 p.m. Friday, on eastbound Highway 118, just west of 5 Freeway.
As per the report, a motorcycle and car crashed for unknown reasons. The rider was down in the roadway after the crash.
An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the injured parties. The number of victims and their current condition remained unknown.
The cars were blocking lanes 5 and 6 following the accident. All lanes were opened and vehicles moved to the right shoulder of the roadway as of 6:30 p.m.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
