1 Injured in Wrightwood Car Accident at Highway 138 and Highway 2

Wrightwood, California (January 4, 2019) – One person was injured Wednesday morning in a traffic crash in Wrightwood, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The wreck happened at around 10:14 a.m. Wednesday, January 2 in the area of Highway 138 and Highway 2. Highway 2 is also known as Angeles Crest Highway.
According to the CHP, two vehicles collided for an unknown reason at the intersection. One of the cars involved was described as a Toyota Avalon.
Firefighters along with paramedics responded to the scene and rendered aid to an occupant in the Toyota, who was left with a minor head injury after the crash. It was immediately unclear if the patient was treated at the scene or was transported to the hospital for further treatment.
The name of the victim and their condition were not immediately disclosed.
No other details were immediately available. The crash remains under investigation by authorities.
