6 Injured in Pittsburg Crash on Pittsburg-Antioch Highway at Loveridge Road
Pittsburg, California (January 3, 2019) – Six people were injured after a multi-vehicle collision Wednesday afternoon in the area of Pittsburg, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision happened at around 2:01 p.m. Wednesday, January 2, at Pittsburg-Antioch Highway and Loveridge Road.
As per the report, five cars crashed for unknown reasons.
Firefighters along with paramedics responded to the scene and attended to six people who suffered injuries as a result of the accident. Three of the victims were transported by ambulance to an area hospital for treatment.
The number of victims and their current condition remained unknown.
Officials closed the intersection for about an hour following the accident.
