57-Year-Old Tam Vo Dies in Fountain Valley Pedestrian Crash at Warner Avenue and Los Jardines West
Fountain Valley, California (January 3, 2019) – A 57-year-old man was fatally hit by a vehicle in Fountain Valley on Sunday morning, according to a local news source.
The crash happened at Warner Avenue and Los Jardines West at about 9:05 a.m. December 30.
According to the news source, Tam Minh Vo, 57, of Salt Lake City, Utah, was hit by driver who ran a red light at the intersection. The driver tried to swerve to avoid another vehicle but ended up jumping the curb and hit the pedestrian.
Minh Vo was pronounced deceased at the scene.
It’s unclear whether the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene or was charged in connection with the crash.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
