Sacramento, California (January 2, 2019) – One person was killed in a car accident that occurred in East Sacramento on Tuesday evening.

According to a local news source, the fatal crash occurred on Interstate 50 near Watt Avenue at an unspecified time.

As per the report, a car was traveling westbound on the roadway when for collided with a pickup truck for unknown reasons. The impact of the collision caused the car to spin out of the roadway and crash into a light pole.

The unidentified 29-year-old male driver of the car was killed in the crash while his 34-year-old male passenger sustained moderate injuries.

The female driver of the pickup truck was unhurt.
