San Mateo Accident on Highway 101 near Poplar Avenue Results in Minor Injuries
San Mateo, California (July 29, 2021) – A San Mateo accident involving four automobiles Wednesday night sent at least one person to the hospital.
A gray Honda Accord reportedly crashed with three other vehicles on Highway 101, just north of Poplar Avenue, at approximately 10:50 p.m.
The California Highway Patrol did not immediately establish how the four vehicles crashed on the southbound side of the roadway.
Due to the impact, the Honda Accord acquired major front-end damage.
Minor Injury San Mateo Crash
One unidentified person sustained minor injuries in the crash and was rushed to the Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital for medication.
The accident resulted in the closure of the southbound lanes of Highway 101 for an unknown time.
An investigation into the minor injury accident is underway.
