Coachella Resident Christine Thomas Among 6 People Killed in Truckee Plane Crash near Ponderosa Golf Course
Truckee, California (July 29, 2021) – Coachella resident Christine Thomas was among six people who died in Monday’s plane crash that occurred in Truckee, according to a local news source.
The plane was carrying six people and none of them survived the crash.
Just after 1 p.m. July 26, authorities received a report that a Bombardier CL 600 jet had crashed in the area near the Ponderosa Golf Course.

The plane was headed from Coeur d’ Alene in Idaho and the pilot was trying to land at the Truckee Tahoe Airport. The plane crashed into the woods and caught fire.
The cause of the wreck is under investigation by the FAA and the NTSB.
