Fontana, California (July 28, 2021) – A pedestrian died after being struck by a vehicle Tuesday night near an intersection in Fontana.
The California Highway Patrol said the incident transpired at about 9:20 p.m. on Sierra Avenue and Lytle Creek Road.
According to the report, a car of an unknown make and model hit a pedestrian for unknown reasons.
The victim died of injuries sustained in the accident. The coroner responded to the scene following the fatal crash. The identity of the pedestrian was not disclosed.
