2 Officers Injured in Car Accident on Logan Avenue near 5 Freeway in San Diego
San Diego, California (July 28, 2021) – Two SDPD officers were injured in a collision involving a San Diego police patrol vehicle in Barrio Logan on Tuesday night.
The accident happened on Logan Avenue near Interstate 5, near Chicano Park, at about 10:30 p.m. July 27.
The patrol vehicle is reported to have collided with an SUV for unknown reasons.
There were two officers inside the patrol vehicle and they sustained minor injuries in the crash.
The SUV driver was cited for driving without a license.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
