San Carlos, CA: CHP Investigating Major Injury Motorcycle Crash on Highway 101

San Carlos, California (July 26, 2021) – One person suffered serious injuries in a motorcycle collision that took place Monday evening on a highway in San Carlos, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The incident occurred just before 6:00 p.m. on northbound Highway 101, just south of Holly Street off-ramp.

Reportedly, a sports vehicle stopped abruptly, and a Suzuki motorcycle hit it.

Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene to help the victims.

The report said one person sustained severe injuries in the collision.

The accident left the Nos. 1 and 3 lanes of northbound Highway 101, just south of Holly Street, blocked for an unknown period.

CHP is investigating the accident.
