Terence Wingo ID’d as Driver Killed in Anaheim Hills Collision on Riverside (91) Freeway near Imperial Highway Overpass

Anaheim Hills, California (July 23, 2021) – Authorities have identified the driver who died Wednesday afternoon following an alleged DUI crash in Anaheim Hills as Terence Wingo, 54, of Tustin.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal crash happened at around 3:45 p.m. Wednesday, July 21, on the westbound Riverside (91) Freeway, just south of the Imperial Highway overpass.
The CHP said Alexander Deandre Neuson, 36, was driving a 2022 Chevrolet Silverado westbound in the Fastrak lane at a high rate of speed when, for unknown reasons, he swerved to the left and slammed into a concrete center divider.
The Silverado then drifted to the right and clipped the rear of a 1999 Ford Mustang driven by Wingo. The force of the impact pushed the Mustang into the back of a 2021 Tesla.
Deadly 91 Freeway Accident in Anaheim Hills
Emergency crews responded to the scene and extricated Wingo from the wreckage. Sadly, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Tesla sustained minor injuries.
Further details about the crash were not immediately provided.
The accident remains under investigation.
