American Canyon, California (July 22, 2021) – A motorcyclist suffered major injuries in a traffic collision that took place Wednesday afternoon in American Canyon, the California Highway Patrol said.

The CHP report said the incident involved at least two vehicles, including a sports motorcycle and a big rig.

The collision occurred at about 5:17 p.m. on eastbound Highway 12, near Red Top Road.

Reportedly, the motorcyclist was run over by a big rig.

The rider sustained major injuries in the accident. Paramedics responded to the scene to help the patient.
