1 Killed in Colton Pedestrian Crash on Northbound Interstate 215 Transition to Eastbound Interstate 10

Colton, California (July 20, 2021) – A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a semi-truck Monday night on a transition road in Colton, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident occurred at around 10:39 p.m. on the northbound Interstate 215 transition to eastbound Interstate 10.
A driver of a big rig called authorities reporting that he thought he hit a pedestrian.
Firefighters responded to the scene to find the pedestrian under the big rig. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
No details were given about the identity of the pedestrian.
CHP is investigating the accident.
