Sausalito, California (July 18, 2021) – A motorcyclist was injured Friday afternoon in a traffic accident in Sausalito, the California Highway Patrol reported.

The crash happened at around 3:51 p.m. Friday, July 16, on Highway 101 near the Spencer Avenue off-ramp and north of the Robin Williams Tunnel.

According to the CHP, the motorcyclist collided with a gray Ford Escape under unclear circumstances on Highway 101.

The Ford then stopped on the right-hand shoulder of the Spencer Avenue off-ramp.

The motorcyclist was transported to the Marin General Hospital with minor injuries. The name and condition of the rider were not immediately disclosed.

The northbound lanes of Highway 101 were closed following the crash.
